Cosima Soulez Lariviere
Cosima Soulez Larivière was born in Paris. She has both French and Dutch nationality. She has performed publicly in Europe and Asia (Tokyo).
In 2017, she was awarded the 1st prize, as well as numerous concert engagements, at the Bartok World Competition in Budapest, Hungary. In 2015, she obtained the 3rd prize (no first prize was awarded) and the Bach prize at the Postacchini Competition in Fermo, Italy. In that same year, she won the first prize at the
Brahms Competition in Pörtschach, Austria.
She has participated in master-classes with Zakhar Bron, Dora Schwarzberg, Ana Chumachenko and others. She became a fellow of the Tanglewood Music Centre, USA, in the summer of 2016. Cosima is a recipient of the ESU Music Scholarship, UK (2015), the Live Music Now Hannover e.V. Scholarship, Germany (2015), the Deutschland Stipendium (2016) and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (2017).
When she was eight, Cosima was awarded a scholarship to the Yehudi Menuhin School in Cobham, UK, where she became a pupil of Nathasha Boyarsky.
She is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover, Germany, with Prof. Krzysztof Wegrzyn.
